Caters to the hip market with its fashionable and outrageous clothes, shoes, eyewear, precious gems and CDs. Street fashion, unique accessories and knick knacks are also on sale.
Spreading out along Serangoon Road , Little India is one of Singapore ’s most colorful districts. Almost all of the residents here are from Indian descent, since their ancestors’ arrival in Singapore in the mid 1800’s.
Is most famous for its electronic items. Haggling is also possible so it’s better to canvass first then compare and negotiate prices.
The only 24 hour shopping mall in Singapore , takes up an entire block on the edge of Little India. Asian items, such as Indian products, are available here.
To get a feel of the Singapore “suburbs,” try shopping at the famous Arab Street . Colorful and unique clothes and textiles made from different types of fabrics are sold at the streets.
